About Soundwaves · Our Approach

The Details Behind a Better Everyday.

Soundwaves brings technology, design thinking, and practical craftsmanship together. Based in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts, we work with homeowners, builders, and businesses to create spaces that feel considered and work naturally.

in Motion.

Light, shade, and simple control, brought together in one moment.

A roller shade rises in a coastal room to reveal the illuminated Soundwaves wordmark. Architectural lighting comes on, accompanied by the original Soundwaves audio cue. There is no spoken dialogue.

01

Listen First

A project starts with how the space will be used and what matters to the people in it. We translate that conversation into a clear scope and a suitable system.

02

Consider the Whole Room

Lighting, shades, sound, networks, and finishes affect each other. We look for the decisions that make them work together—and bring the right people into the conversation.

03

Care About the Finish

From an equipment rack to a custom-made detail, the hidden work deserves attention. We value thoughtful layout, accessible equipment, clear labeling, and a careful handover.

04

Keep the Relationship Clear

Good work depends on communication in both directions. We agree on responsibilities, timing, and support expectations so everyone understands the next step.

Our Facilities · Your Long-Term Partner

The Work Behind the Finish.
The Care That Follows.

Our 6,000-square-foot facility in Buzzards Bay brings our workshop, equipment, and fabrication resources together around your project. It supports the custom details in your installation and the work of caring for your systems in the years that follow.

Custom Details, Made to Fit.

Our professional woodshop, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment help create mounts, equipment concealment, acoustic panels, and integrated lighting details for Soundwaves installations. We coordinate that work with your architect, designer, and finish trades.

Prepared for Everyday Use.

Equipment layout, programming, labeling, and service access are part of the same plan. The care behind the scenes helps us deliver systems that your family can use and that our team can understand, maintain, and adapt.

A Relationship Beyond Installation.

For the systems we install, we plan ongoing care around the equipment and your needs. Remote support handles what it can; local visits address work that needs a person on site. We remain a resource for adjustments, service, and future improvements.

An Investment in the Years Ahead

Built to Evolve.
Planned to Last.

We plan for years of use. For suitable products, that can mean eight to ten years or more, with decisions made today supporting the way you will live and work tomorrow.

We deliver a complete system for your needs today, with infrastructure planned for future growth. Careful cable routing, space for equipment, network capacity, and accessible connections help accommodate changing needs. Our team specifies, installs, and documents that foundation so we can support and expand it with a clear understanding of your home or business.

We consider useful life, manufacturer support, repairability, and upgrade options when choosing products. Ongoing care and a clear plan for future changes help you get lasting value from the system.

Client Privacy

Your Home.
Your Permission.

A private home does not need to become public proof of our work. We do not publish client names, addresses, or identifiable project images without permission.

There are other useful ways to talk about quality: the planning process, material and finish samples, equipment organization, and the details of how an installation is completed. If project examples are appropriate to share, permission comes first.

The architectural images on this website illustrate possibilities. They are not photographs of Soundwaves installations.
