One estate.
One network.
One app.
The owner can choose a movie from a personal media server in the main house or change the music playing at the beach, 800 feet away. Both happen in the same app.

From the main house to the beach.
Built in 1885, the main house alone has 14,000 square feet of finished living space. In a home of that era, thick plaster or masonry can weaken Wi-Fi enough that a room gets a poor signal even when it works well just outside the door. That makes the walls between rooms as important as the distance between them when deciding where to place equipment.
Across the estate, more than 40 wireless access points serve the buildings and outdoor spaces. The same managed network connects the main house with the other dwellings, tennis courts, upper and lower lawns, and waterfront, with music and lighting extending across the grounds.
One app, wherever the owner is.
From the same app, the owner can watch television, browse their personal media library, choose music for the beach, and adjust the pool settings. Lighting, motorized shades, and thermostats throughout the estate are all within reach.
When away, the owner can see who is at an entrance, manage access, view cameras, arm the intrusion alarms, or set a comfortable temperature before arriving.
Comcast billed the estate’s four service addresses as four accounts. Connecting the buildings through one managed network allowed the owner to consolidate television and internet service across the property.
